Accessibility statement

Last updated: -05-11. Freshbeauty wants people in Aotearoa New Zealand—including disabled people and those using assistive technology—to use this website with dignity. This statement explains our current approach, known limits, and how to request help.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for new and updated content. We test keyboard navigation, visible focus, colour contrast for core text, responsive reflow, and form labels.

What works well

• Semantic landmarks such as header, main, nav, and footer.
• Skip link to main content.
• Visible focus outlines on interactive elements.
• Text-based alternatives for purely decorative graphics.

Known limitations

• Embedded third-party maps may not expose the same keyboard experience as the rest of the site.
• Some decorative “glass” backgrounds rely on transparency; if contrast ever fails in a browser combination, tell us and we will adjust the stylesheet.

Alternate formats

If you need policy text or workshop summaries in another format (for example large print or a structured Word document), email clients@freshbeauty.world and we will do our best within a reasonable timeframe.
