Return and Refund Policy
Last updated: -05-11. This Policy explains how returns, refunds, and cancellations work for paid digital planning services offered by Freshbeauty. It supplements any individual statement of work or invoice terms agreed in writing.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand)
If you are a “consumer” as defined in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), our services come with non-excludable guarantees that they will be carried out with reasonable care and skill, be fit for any particular purpose you make known, and be completed within a reasonable time when no time is agreed. This Policy and any written contract cannot override those guarantees for personal or domestic services. For business-use services, different rules may apply—your invoice will state the position where relevant.
Digital delivery
Where services are delivered electronically, you receive access to files, workshops, or consultations according to the schedule in your agreement. Unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, digital items that have been fully delivered and accepted may be non-refundable once delivery is complete.
Cooling-off and other statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts within fourteen days unless you requested immediate performance and acknowledged that the right may be lost once delivery begins. In New Zealand, remedies for defective services or misleading conduct may arise under the CGA and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable statutory rights.
Eligibility for partial or full refunds
- If we cancel a booked session for reasons within our control, you may choose a rescheduled date or a full refund of fees paid for that session.
- If technical failure on our side prevents delivery and cannot be remedied within five business days, you may request a proportional refund for the affected portion of a package.
- If you cancel more than forty-eight hours before a scheduled paid workshop, we refund any prepaid seat fee minus reasonable administrative costs disclosed on your invoice.
- If you cancel within forty-eight hours of a scheduled session, fees may be forfeited unless we successfully fill the slot from a waitlist.
Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve the issue. Unfounded chargebacks may result in closure of further bookings.
How to request a refund review
Email clients@freshbeauty.world with your name, invoice reference, purchase date, and a concise description of the concern. We acknowledge receipt within two business days and provide a decision within ten business days unless a complex review is required.
Currency and method
Approved refunds are processed in New Zealand dollars to the original payment method where technically possible. Bank processing times may apply.
